We had successful signings for the Arizona State University book at places like the (fabulous) independent bookstore Changing Hands Bookstore and the (gigantic) Costco and at the Rosson House Museum at Phoenix's Heritage Square. At this writing (May 2016) it looks like Costco might have again have a signing in June. We'll see.

There was a great release party at the Tempe History Museum for the Legendary Locals of Tempe book--over a 100 people were there, including many people from the "deep" past, mayors and city council members, local "celebrities" and entrepreneurs, etc. Jerry Brock, businessman and philanthropist, even brought his great vintage tow truck for folks to appreciate. Attendees enjoyed the great food was donated by Rosita's Fine Mexican Food and Wildflower Bread Company, and Harkins Theatres donated popcorn. Many local businesses generously donated lots of door prizes, including Childsplay, Gammage Auditorium, Changing Hands Bookstore, House of Tricks, Four Peaks Brewery, Hayden Flour Mills, and many more, even including Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Hope you were there!

Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to touch base or like me to consider scheduling an event for your group in connection with either book. The beauty of these books is they never go out of date and can make many connections to different groups in the ASU and/or Tempe community. (I can also put you in touch with the publisher if you want to arrange bulk pricing for potential fundraising efforts, as gifts, or the like.)
